Chance of Showers Today

Static,
Quick,
Wink,
Explosion,
Terror in the face.

Anger,
Roaring,
Darkness forming,
Deep beneath in the abyss,
That I wish would go amiss.

Words stabbing,
Finger jabbing,
The dying phone in hand.
I'm the doctor,
In search of wonder,
If my soul will make it to the other side.
But I can't look,
I dare not say.
As the results were emulated.
Upon the other side,
In the world of death,
Pleading "Not guilty."
I cry and beg.

But as I look to the grey,
Misty and fast paced sky,
My eyes close,
It feels drenched,
They feel drenched,
Like a downpour,
Now turning into showers,
Showers changing to ice,
Ice become hail,
Hail gets bigger,
As thunder and wind take the sky.
I hear angels dying,
The other soul made it,
To the other side!

The other soul made it,
To the other side.

Alone but At Peace (Part 3)

With now living alone,
I moved to a new city,
A complex world that I wasn't used to living in.
It was quite different,
And even weird in some ways,
But I had followed my instinct,
And went over the mountains,
In search of a new Owner.

What made this world so hard,
And very complicated,
Was the rules that I had to follow,
That didn't follow my own morals.

Like one day,
The People there didn't like going out in the rain,
But they only went out with giant mushrooms,
That had long stems for their tiny hands.
It was quite a queer sight,
As mushrooms were meant to be food,
Cooked and made delicious,
Not used to protect from rain.
Besides,
Rain is also a great thing to touch fur,
So why would rain scare a person?
Maybe they didn't like getting messy.

Yes,
That's probably the case.

Even though this city has a lot of contrasts,
From the way I'm use to living,
There's still some things,
That coincide with how I feel.

Like for one thing,
There are a lot more of cats like me,
And we even get along together.

Its even closer then being with a Owner.
This what surprises me.
But its something that makes me smile.
Something,
That allows me more than anything,
To be at peace.

Found and Left Alone (part 2)

I'm found,
I finally reached that hand that I wanted to hold.
It was kind,
And sweet,
Just like I hoped it would be.

However,
It was quite brief.

I thought the warmth was going to stay forever,
But my new Owner's eyes were casting off,
To a new distance,
A secret horizon that it felt alone.
I would climb to Owner's shoulder to look,
Use glasses to even get a better vision,
But foggy days,
And cloudy nights was what I would see.
I couldn't get into my Owner's shoes.

My Owner would even sometimes forget about me,
As it looked to the horizon everyday.
I was trying to let Owner notice me again.
I would give Owner presents,
And tell Owner sweet things,
But Owner's mind was still somewhere else.
Always somewhere else.

Then,
Few days later,
When I woke,
And went to look for Owner,
Giving Owner usual sweet greetings,
Owner wasn't there to be found.
I looked for Owner everywhere,
I went all over town in search of Owner.
At the end of the day,
I knew that new Owner was gone.
I was left alone again.

But this didn't make me hate Owner,
No I couldn't try.
It made me feel sad for Owner.
Made me wish that I could help Owner.
Make Owner realize,
That the greatest things in Owner's life,
Was right in-front of Owner.
It didn't have to be me,
But living in the present is better,
Than chasing off dizzy dreams.

As the wind grew colder,
And snow started to float down softly,
I then got out of the house,
The warm,
Sweet house,
And out to the cold world,
To accept,
The cold truth:

Sometimes when finding true happiness,
You have to be left alone for a while.

Deep down though,
I hoped that I could meet Owner again.
The Owner who I thought,
Was surely,
The one.

Lost and Found (part 1)

I lost.
I've fallen.
I can't stand on my two feet anymore.

I lay on the floor,
With hands open,
Fingers stretched beyond my reach.

Am I truly gone with the wind?
Is my soul already taken?
Or I'm just lost in this bare and broken world?

Lately,
I feel I can't trust anyone,
Or more like,
I feel like a cat,
With its guard up to my Owner.

I can't even look in my Owner's eyes,
I can't even stand when Owner is in the room.
I feel the walls closing in,
As the lights slowly dim to total darkness.

Am I truly lost to reality?
Can I never be able to find true happiness?
I always feel that no matter what,
My heart can never be prepared for the world ahead,
Since everyone keeps me on the ground,
And kick me till I cry in defeat.

I need a hand to take,
I want fingers to intertwine,
And take a leap of faith,
With a different Owner.
I want to be loved,
I want to survive.
In a new world,
With my new Owner,
And I.

Lost in WonderMend

"Greetings little girl! What's you're name?" A lean rabbit with a big green, led-poisoned hat, exclaimed to the visitor.

"Alice sir." The visitor answered in a high voice. The visitor, being a young girl, looked at the rabbit with sad eyes. She knew the hat has poisoned his mind to become mad!

"Why do you have such a hat, sir?"

"No sirs please! My hat is most certainly fine... I forgot! My cup of tea!" He then starts running around with his tea cup in hand.

"My tea cup is empty! Please come with me! I need to give you some as well since you are a guest."

He took her wrist without a thought as she ran behind, passing by tall purple trees that gave perplexing smells.

"G-guest?" She managed to say as she ran with him.

"Indeed Alice! A guest in this world where I was born, raised, and learned the ways of being mad! For I'm the Mad Hatter!"

He took his hat off as he threw it in the air. Before it could be swept by the branches of trees, the wind caught it and it flew far to the unknown. Such a strange world she was in!

"Y-you're hat sir!" Alice cried to the sky.

No answer came as she then looked to her front. He vanished! She then stopped herself. Searching with eyes filled with fear, she didn't dare call him. Something inside her told her so.

"Welcome to WonderMEND. Where nothing you knew was the same before." A voice informed her.

She turned around to see if the voice was there. The thing that stood before her was a floating lamp light. This surprised her as it bowed in greetings to her.

"Shady shall show you the way around this forest. It is going to get dark soon anyhow. You better leave before he comes back, Alice. He's not all you think. He's more than the Mad Hatter. He's the Psychopath of WonderMEND." The same voice from before explained.

"The Mad Hatter is the King of Blood Stained Fools!" Another voice called from one of the trees.

"He's going to come back!" A third voice bellowed from the sky.

"Run Alice RUN!" The voices chorused.

Then the light vanished, leaving Alice to get swallowed by the pitch black darkness.

Footsteps were then in place of her breath. Panic was bitten down her throat. Fear was chocked in her fists.

She then started to run. She kept at it even if she felt tired. Sweat was creating a trail behind her as she went deeper in the forest. She didn't dare to stop. She had to keep going.

"STOP! STOP AT ONCE! ALICE!!!!!!" A familiar voice called to her.

She knew it was the Mad Hatter, but she couldn't trust him. She knew his brain was defeated from his poisoned top hat.

"Just leave me alone! I want to go home! Screw WonderMEND! She screamed back.

That's when she finally stood in her tracks. Her ears perked. She didn't wanted to get fooled again...

A thud was then heard dropped to the floor. Placed in-front of her was a small pistol. The end was stained in blood. Fresh and rotting. She took a few steps away as then two hands were placed on her shoulders. They pushed her to the floor and twisted her. She was then faced up to the now lit up sky. The Mad Hatter was floating in the rich blue as he twirled a gun on his forefinger.

"So you want out, right? YOU WANT OUT?! I'LL SHOW YOU OUT! AH HAHAHAHAHA!"

The Mad Hatter then stopped talking as he smiled, displaying his teeth. His eyes were crossed. His finger on the trigger. Aiming at her heart. Her eyes then closed.

Ready.

For.

Impact...

No bang went off from the gun. She didn't even hear the Mad Hatter. None of the other voices from the forest. She then opened her eyes. She found herself resting next to a tree. She looked around to see the tree. The leaves were green and they had no funny scent. She then signed with relief as she stood up and walked on home.

"I'm so glad it was only a dream." She said to herself.

Eggs and Toast Anyone?

It was an early morning. Too early for starters. But I still had to get up so I could make breakfast for everyone. With my feet going at the mahogany floor like a cat chasing a tiny mouse, I rushed to the kitchen. The sun wasn't even up and everyone was suppose to be asleep for a couple more hours. Nonetheless, work had to be done. But nothing can come close to perfection in this world. It's true for all of us. Humans. Animals. With making simple eggs on the stove and bread warming up in the toaster, I heard the door behind me slam shut. Like a gun shot firing and next stomping on the victimized floor. I budged a little as my father came into the kitchen. I just stared at my father for a moment and then turned around as I took the eggs off the pan. Moving it to a clean white plate, I put two sunny side eggs side-by-side.

"Here." I said, eyes casting down.

He took them. He put them on the small kitchen table. He ate the eggs. I went to make more.

"So it's summer for you now?" He started off.

I nodded. "Yep."

"You have any plans today?" He chewed on the white protein.

I wished for the sun to come out that moment. The cold air made me shiver in my purple fuzzy socks.

"Yes." The lie slipped between my teeth as I wanted to be silent. If anything, there are two things my father taught me ever since I was younger: when to talk and when to close doors. At that moment, I was trying to do both. One more stranious then the other.

I suddenly smelt burning toast.

I let out a scream as I quickly got out the poor creature that I left to dry. It was almost dead. Dead in my eyes.

"If no one wants that, just give that to me." My father tried to encourage me.

I'm pathetic.

"Why over a piece of toast?" I whispered to myself.

I then quickly swallowed it as I handed the slice of brick to my father. At that moment, I was just wishing to leave the room. He took a turn to notice this.

"You...You alright kiddo?"

I folded my arms and stared at him. I turned the stove off as I took a breath to let the steam out.

"You already know. Why should I tell you? I'm not stupid anymore."

"It's still good for your mind to say the problems aloud." His conscious speaking to me.

I wanted to spit back. Knowing that to show my teenager-self would be a terrible image, I tried to talk back with my inner self. If you would had seen me in black-and-white vision, my eyes would had changed from a dark grey to a sudden light sky blue. And that color would be pouring over my cheeks slowly. My hands would had been turning red as I turned them into fists. My chest would had been glowing pale yellow as I chocked on my feelings to form to words to be transferred to the brain and finally coming down to my vocal chords. The only color that would had been left safe to stay in color would be my purple socks. The soft comfort. The saved warmth.

I took a quick breath to speak.

Then two.

Three.

Four.

And ended with a scream as I cried to the floor. Fork and knife suddenly danced under the table. My father came to me as he held me silently.

"I'm sorry." The words slipped to me.

I then felt color brought back to the whole world as, finally, the sunlight faded into the room. And I was no longer, freezing cold.

Journeys of the Golden Flower CH 1

P A R T 1 *.*.*.*.

Tip tap,
Tip top.
Clip clap,
Slip slop.

These are sounds my feet make,
As the wet dirt is squeezed between my toes,
And my breath silent in the forest.

I can’t stop these noises,
They are apart of this world,

And this world alone.

Little as any golden flower existed,
I stared from the hill that I was perched.
Soon to be away and gone,
The sun settled on the calmest evening I ever felt.
It gave the world a sense of beauty and mystic,
As it was driven off to its bed with the stars.

It was a beautiful sight,
The moon that seemed to be broken,
Like a plate that a toddler dropped by mistake,
Made the world more beautiful as it was lifted to the sky,
And occupied the space that the sun before occupied.

If you can tell already,
I’m in love with the gentle things that approach the sky above.
If I were able to have wings,
I would try to grab,
Hold,
And kiss all the things that live there.

Although,
There is a problem I declare to you,
The Reader,
The Audience.

I'm no flower,
Nor am I golden.

It’s just something everyone,
Somehow,
Decided called me.

I'm actually wearing white,
My hair flowed from green to white,
And my eyes are colored grey as clouds.
I'm a person in tiny proportions.
I'm no fairy,
Nor a dwarf,
But sized as an insect.

Due to these circumstance,
I always had to hide,
But the greater force of my past as well,
Forced me to be located in taller grasses.

I also have no knowledge,
Or prior experience.
I'm a newbie to being independent in this world.
This is the case of me running away,
Far from the hands of past,
To be able to grab me into their hold.

“No.”
I cry to their prying dirty palms,
As they kept going at me,
“I will not let you win!”

With helping me to try to stay stable,
And have the will to continue to fight on,
I’m always in search,
For the good things in life.
Like the other day,
I found the most delicious thing,
That I ever tasted when I was on my journey.
It was big,
And dark blue like an ocean at dusk.
The scent was thorny,
But absolutely sweet to the core.
To others that crossed my path,
They saw no value,
Nor pleasure from it.
Actually revolted as they saw me.
But,
All I wanted to do,
Was to show what I found.
The blueberry? I think the person informed me.

It counted to me like for you a treasure,
Your first memory,
Or family.

Family....

If only I have family.
It’s something I would keep sacred,
As a little object,
That would glow for only me,
And would be kept,
Forever in my heart.

If only wishes could be fueled,
And stay burning that easily.

Gasps of sadness took my heart,
Or I at least,
I tricked myself to think this.

As I'm now down the hill,
With not realizing that I left the hill,
And I stared at my face through the river.
I saw my eyes glowing with watery fireworks,
But I pulled them out of my system,
As I wiped the mess that I felt.

I forced myself to dismiss it as I trod on further,
Feeling the grasp of the wind,
Hugging me tight,

Like the best friend I never had.

Once Upon a Midnight...

Once,
Twice,
Thrice upon a time.
The clock that never strikes on the hour,
But upon the memories of heart loss and pain,
As it's powered by tears,
For it washes the blood away.

The little dagger and long ax,
Are the instruments that tell the time.
"For torture."
Of course one person might say.
"For each little man dies in some way."

Even if the person is alive and well,
Suffering is the thing that drags on,
In what we call,
"A livin' hell, sir?"

"Correct my good man." I answer the voices.
"Correct indeed."

Two twin pale forms of human
Are watching the clock as they are filled with glee.
Their pointy teeth are not at all messy,
And their hair is certainly dressy.
Their suits however can be a drag,
But they wanted to do this so they can be a brag.

"Stop with the rhyming strange writer!" One says.

"It's time for the killing." The other says.

Then with the instruments of the clock,
Now in their hands,
They come closer to me,
As I'm filled with regret.

But they do it slow and painless,
As they trick me in the eye,
Making me think how I'm,
NOT,
Going to die.

But they trick me,
Both of them with their smiles wide,
As they slash me open.

"Bye bye creator." They sing to me,
"We shall see you in the next story."

The Captivating Journal Entries of Beauty

Gentle river, Rippled all across it's bank. Two pair of eyes penetrate it's surface. A pale hand comes out. It wants to touch the sky. The lips want to kiss the moon. But the fingers retreat. A head of long golden white hair flows in the bank. The eyes are now blue like the sea. The fingernails are clear as colorless glass. But this creature then dips back down into the lake. It's tail flukes gently before leaving.

This happened on the first night.

She appears again. Her head pops out of the water. Her eyes only notice the moon. I don't hide as I watch her. Her head is posed in a 45 degree angle. A perfect picture of beauty.

That was the second night.

On the third, her hand was perched on her chest and her neck stretched to the moon as her voice ascended. The song was rung by the gravitational pull as the waves carried the voice to the moon. I couldn't breath as I wished to be that moon.

She then disappeared for two days after...

Once she came back, another hand was perched in hers. But was the opposite of her. It's large hand took her small hand whole. It's eyes were pale as clouds. It's hair dark as any black hole.

But it had no tail.

That day, she finally saw me. As I looked at her with a stricken heart.

She put her hand out to me.

She sang me a song.

But I couldn't reach her.

I couldn't even touch her.

As I was the one,

The lonely soul,

Standing on that moon.
